Remove the stagger effect (unless maybe looking directly at an enemy). However what isn't mention is how this changes the interactions with Healing the Rumblers/Bulkwark and Reinforcing The wall. Make Petrify into an AoE toggle similar to Equinox's Pacify aura. Natural Talent will be a major assest for CC Max range builds. I sorta used old Petrify like this when I needed instant CC (for the stagger and slow), but the cast times for Atlas' facepalming hurt without Natural Talent. Atlast summons a Bulwark made of stone with a base health of 2850 / 3150 / 3450 / 3750 and armor equal to 500 of Atlas' modded armor. Also as note confirmed by wiki petrify works same as ice element so combines naturally with desecrate, don't know if amalgam ripkas work as some report it didn't work for them. Final flash Petrify is brief enough that lets Atlas keep chaining his Landslide combo for more Rubble or fall back on his guns in a pinch. Petrify don't work on rag dolled enemies so if you have Khora, Vauban, Hydroid, Nidus as teammates then they can screw your petrify. Channeled Petrify was awful for slowing Atlas to a crawl and restricting weapons and most maneuvers (also obstructs vision if you count the cone).

It's definitely a step in the right direction. What do you think? 25, 50, 75 energy? Still 20 seconds or lowered because of instant CC?
